Tapping Youthful Energy to Develop our Villages

■ State-Level meet of Yuvacharyas
■ Seva Yoddhas to be appointed in all villages, goal is to reach 100,000 villages in U.P.

     A state-level meeting of yuvacharyas was organized in Varanasi on September 23, 2018, in connection with The Art of Living’s ambitious “Project Bharat.” Under this project, Seva Yoddhas are being appointed in each and every village of India who will play a key role in the development of their villages. Present at the meet were 15 distinguished guests, 225 block representatives and 35 district representatives of Uttar Pradesh East.

     Shyamdhar Tripathi, GST Commissioner, Gorakhpur, was the chief guest on the occasion. Art of Living coordinator and former Trustee, Rakesh Tandon, inaugurated the meeting. Ram Dhiraj Bhai and Satyadev Azad, members of the Anna Hazare Movement; Research Scholar of Arsenic Water, Dr. Saurabh Sansadveer; Ajay Krantikari, Sukhdev, and Shyamdhar inspired all those present with their own experiences of developing villages.

     Adityanath Choubey, State Council member of YLTP, said that they have set a target of reaching one lakh villages in Uttar Pradesh with the help of representatives in various districts. Yuvacharyas of The Art of Living is already doing a wonderful job in Uttar Pradesh. Apart from teaching villagers the art of living a drugfree, stress-free, life full of joy and prosperity, many of them are volunteering as Swachhagrahis in the Total Sanitation Campaign (TSC) in 36 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

     Several others are involved in the Clean Ganga campaign that has been launched in Ballia, Varanasi, Bhadohi, and Mirzapur. In addition, 250 Sanskar Kendras that will be managed by yuvacharyas to provide free education to the needy is being set up in various villages.
